Subject: Reduce Plastic Waste Scheme

Dear Stanley

Thank you for the time to answer the feedback about Reduce Plastic Waste Scheme. your answer has helped costumers and suppliers to reduce their use of plastic packaging. I helped to set the scheme up, here are the information that i wrote briefly:

1.) Stop putting plastic into the landfills. (like biodegradable/ plastic bags and bottle only break down in specific conditions.) We invite costumers to be part of the new scheme, we aim to change the way costumers buy everyday products.
2.) All plastic bags are now replaced with hessian bags.
3.) Most liquid products.
4.) Fresh Vegetables - try re-usable waxed cotton bags to keep food fresh.

Thank you for your feedback and the ongoing support.

External Correspondent Practice 2

To: Jenny McCage, Supervisor
From: Recycling Program
Date: 25 May 2016
Re: Review of Kitchen Recycling.

As per your request for an update on staff kitchen recycling update, here are the following issues I found:

- The recycling bin has to be used properly. (putting rubbish in the rubbish bin, etc)
- I mostly have positive feedback from the staff.
- some negative feedback from the staff, they think that its a waste of time. (please do-follow)
- The food bin becomes smelly and it is often filled with rubbish.

Most staff feedback agreed about kitchen recycling, so they prefer in a productive way of putting the rubbish in the right way. There was an increase in improvement from the staff kitchen.

A Midsummer Night's Dream - William Shakespeare

Favourite Character:
Titania - her costume design is pretty. Queen of the fairies.
Hermia - she shows so many emotions. madly in love Lysander.

fairies and magic forests- a play being put on. arranged marriage and spells.
court of Athens;  Forrest/ Woods
Time: 1595 - 1597
the woods near Athens gives the magical, unrealistic feelings. it portrays that the place is not real for humans.
the genre of the musical is fantasy, romance, and comedy. it is well portrayed along with the settings of the whole play.

Art blog

This term 2 I'm working on a Landscape and Agriculture in the Philippines. I have at least two paintings to show and had a few mistakes. I am working onto my landscape agriculture, I already have finished two paintings but the other two are not finish. the finished paintings are just landscape which I had a few mistakes or more, deciding which colours was a bit struggle because I wanted to be like the image or reference that I've to choose for my painting.

every two paintings took a long time just to finalize which part if the mistakes and adjust it. The first painting was hard I don't even know why I choose that reference (it looked easy) but some of the parts are just not copied in that reference, I originally added some branches, bushes and trees because I got confused with the colours for the rocks/mountain or just covered the mistakes which what colour I've added. about the river, it doesn't look like in the reference image, I just added some light on it just hoping that it would look like a river. I haven't take my unfinished paintings a photo but here's the reference on what I'm gonna do.

8/ 2/ 20

Today I decided to change my theme feminism to the landscape. why? since my art style is manga couldn't make it real-ish when I'm making a person, its hard making decision if you like try to draw a realistic person. I keep on making ideas but it went bad, I wasn't satisfied with what I'm making so I was thinking that I had to change the theme to feminism to landscape, 'cuz I wasn't happy of what I'm making.

right now I'm looking through what my artist would be for the landscaping, my theme landscape would be "Philippines landscape". I'm starting to look for more ideas (i already have my ideas).

The Viewpoint

The ViewPoints are the improvisational system that trains an actor to use their body in time and space to create meaning. like movements involving parts of the body whereas the shape of the whole body.
adapted for stage acting by Anne Bogart, They are points of awareness that a performer or creator has while working. They provide a vocabulary for thinking about and acting upon movement and gesture.

The Nine Viewpoints:

Viewpoints of Space - Spatial Relationships
- Architecture
- Floor Pattern

Viewpoints of the Body - Shape
                                                - Gesture

Viewpoints of Time - Kinaesthetic response
- Repetition
- Duration

- Tempo

Spatial Relationships

The distance between things on stage, between one body and another or between a body
and an object or piece of architecture.
Consider: groupings extremes of proximity

Architecture

The physical environment in which you are working and how the awareness of it affects movement.

Floor Pattern

The pattern created on the floor as the actor moves through space;
determines how the actors get from one place to another.

Shape

The contour or outline the body (or bodies) make in space.
Consider: all shapes can be broken into lines, curves or a combination of lines and curves
The shape can be stationary or moving through space
The shape can be made: with the body in space
the body in relationship to architecture making a shape
the body in relation to other bodies making a shape.

Gesture

A movement involving a part or parts of the body. Gesture generally involves parts of the body
(e.g. face or hands) whereas shape generally involves the whole body.
The gesture has 3 categories: Daily life (behavioural e.g. scratching/sniffing)

Stereotypical (cultural e.g. saluting)
Expressive (abstract)

Kinaesthetic Response

A spontaneous physical reaction to something which occurs outside you;
the impulsive movement which occurs from stimulation of the senses.

Consider: this viewpoint holds the viewpoints improvisation together

Tempo

The rate or speed at which a movement occurs; how fast or slow something happens on stage.

Duration

How long a movement or sequence of movements continues.

Repetition

Repeating something on stage. It can be an exact copy or it could be a variation.
Variations on repetition: Exact

Transfer (a movement or gesture is applied to another person or context)
Transform (a movement is transformed into something different but from the same source idea e.g.
the action of bouncing a ball becomes the action of fingers running through mud)
Recycling ( repeating a moment, movement or gesture later in the Viewpoints session
-serves as a unique vocabulary for the session)

Learning to Act

own text: Today you are you, that is truer than true, no one is alive who is you-er than you.

group text: rumour is a piper

song group: Hakuna matata

our next step is to choose if we're gonna do Shakespeare or Musical Theatre. I don't know about Shakespeare but I do know about Musical Theatre because, ive

what are we learning?
were doing viewpoints and were gonna keep on working on it to learn.

my artwork

I'm gonna show what I've done or have started for my board this year (Term 1).
As you can see it's about feminism empowerment and gender equality, that's gonna be the theme that I'm gonna do throughout the year.
I've haven't done any paintings yet, I was thinking that I would do a bit more sketch first or make ideas after doing paintings because I think it's easier for me to do. To be honest, doing the painting is a bit more challenging for me (which is good for level 2) because all I did was always do a sketch, like the last artwork I made illustration based on the anime version, I was comfortable doing it but when I tried to do it with paint it won't work together. I tried but it went bad as I didn't expect that would, so this year I won't be doing that art style this year and it was only for level 1.  This year ill be focusing on feminism/equality and ill do my best to paint.

Information about the text

Genre/Text Type: school journal

One paragraph about the basic details of the text

This text was about the performance, the experience of performing in front of the audience,  their outfits, preparation, and their Tradition.
I chose to read this text because it is interesting and learning something new about other cultures/traditions.

One Paragraphs about interesting details

One interesting feature was their language and also the culture (dance).
tongan interests me because I've heard the tongan songs. It was catchy.
This interests me because it is different from our culture and it has teamwork which made me read more about it.

A paragraph discussing links between the text and yourself, the world or other texts

I can relate to the main character named Taniel Teutau the leader, it's not always being confident we also feel nervous worrying stuff but in the end you’ll be ok. he is a good leader, thoughtful and helpful at the same time.
The character Taniel Teatue reminds me of when they were about to go on a he was worried but he instead told himself that he can do it! when i was about to perform my solo in front of the class. At first it was scary but then you’ll get the hang of it just like the boy did.

10/ 2/ 20

this year ill be focusing on painting because last year I enjoyed painting also did sketching. I felt like I could do it easily and it's also my passion to paint, my theme this year will be based on the feminism of the worldwide society. it's about awareness of the inequality of women and a determination to resist it this is something that interests me, I felt like it would be something that I could work on throughout the year.
I have decided what my artist model for 2.1: Leonora Carrington and Jacqueline Fahey to help me get started with 2.2, which also going to be the start of my folio.

'A news item that interest me'

The news item that im interest about is Coronavirus, it is known for having a strain that causes a deadly disease in mammals and birds, The virus came from China, Wuhan. This coronavirus is known worldwide since it's all over the news this topic got my attention so I started to search and learn about it.

This news made me aware of the virus by following the safety rule such as washing your hands often (with soap and water) using alcohol-based hand sanitizer, not touching your eyes (nose and mouth) with unwashed hands, avoid with close contact with people who are sick, and etc.

This made me think that coronavirus is a dangerous virus and it's spreading throughout the nations (Philippines, France, Vietnam and etc). Some countries are strict and also the other governments banned the flight from China for the safety of the people by avoiding the spread of the virus. Some people say the virus came from exotic food like bats and snakes or from market huanan seafood wholesale centre of the Chinese city (sold newly slaughtered animals). For short viruses usually originated in animals but they're not sure of what was the actual cause of having that virus. From what I've heard the scientist is examining and learning to look for a cure for this virus.
