Today we have passion project and i choose maths craft, we had a lot of fun since we had a whole period doing the activity. passion project starts every Monday and Thursday there's so much to learn.
Today in maths craft we did the Meanders, meanders is a repeated pattern or motif example of continues pattern like this image:
last 3 weeks we did the hexaflexagon it was also fun to
make it cool patterns and you have to fold strips of paper and we did the Mobius in groups of 4 but like I'm in 5 groups instead of 4 it's, a long story to tell why that happens and also we did the Origami it was
fun cuz first thing we did is to make boxes and if we're done with the box were going to make octahedron and we did the Menger sponge it was a bit hard to form them into box cuz sometimes when
I try to form it, it falls apart but when I know how to do it I kinda get used to it.

ReplyDeleteI like your examples of meanders. You could have told us where we might see these in everyday life. It's good that you have explained the frustration that can come when your menger sponge won't stay together. Did you complete it in the end?
