Maths Crafts

22/11/18

Today we have passion project and i choose maths craft, we had a lot of fun since we had a whole period doing the activity. passion project starts every Monday and Thursday there's so much to learn.
Today in maths craft we did the Meanders, meanders is a repeated pattern or motif example of continues pattern like this image:

Image result for meanders maths craft

Image result for meanders art

last 3 weeks we did the hexaflexagon it was also fun to
make it cool patterns and you have to fold strips of paper and we did the Mobius in groups of 4 but like I'm in 5 groups instead of 4 it's, a long story to tell why that happens and also we did the Origami it was
fun cuz first thing we did is to make boxes and if we're done with the box were going to make octahedron and we did the Menger sponge it was a bit hard to form them into box cuz sometimes when
I try to form it, it falls apart but when I know how to do it I kinda get used to it.

Music-Performing Arts

*What has been your favorite project this year and why?
- So far my favorite was performing.

*What have you found challenging about music this year?
- my most challenging part is when you make your own songs it was challenging cuz
it was my first time making and it was hard, the worst part is i don't know how to play any instruments
that's why couldn't make my own.

*What advice would you give to the year 10 students 2019?

*Goals for 2019 (could be music related or not if you are not taking music in 2019.)
- is to try to make my owns songs/music.

Performance Evaluation

*What did you perform?
- we performed "On the wings of Love".

*With who?
 - with selepa.

*Why did you choose that song?
 - I chose the song cuz it's easy to play piano with it and its known song for my partner
so we agree to it.

* Were you happy with your performance? why?
 - Yes, cuz its fun to play a music and sing with it, especially when you like the song it was fun when practiced we have a lot of mistakes but behind of that, we have a lot of fun.

*If you could perform again, what would you change?
- to be honest, it was hard for me to sing when we play the song cuz its supposed to be
slightly high not like high notes but we did the hight notes anyway it was not hard cuz we did the short verse of it was not struggle what I fear was I might change my voice that's.
Anyways If there's a chance that I would change the song back then I would choose "Something in your eyes"  because it's my masterpiece song I didn't choose the song early cuz the song is not known for my partner so id rather agrees on what we have.

Persuasive Writting

'Fireworks are a waste of public money and have no value.'

  • To be honest, it's not because its only for once in a year to enjoy it, it's not like every day the fireworks is very useful for the new years and other celebration it's not that big of a deal. These fireworks make everyone happy seeing beautiful fireworks, and also not for kids in the Philippines when it's like new years children like to play fireworks and I know it's also a bit of a waste to spend money but for us, I think its natural when  kids get ill every new year. In our country when the fireworks start outside will be like loud so loud that we can't even hear the music they're having fireworks at least it's not boring, its so loud and also the smoke comes through our house and also we had a lot of fun. fireworks are just for fun it's only for celebrations and stuff it's not that a waste of money.

hoping that if you would know who was the person comment down below, please
thank you,,,
this represents artwork about me and also created by me.
as you can see this portrait is 3/4 side, its expression is a simple smile and also a simple self-portrait no jewelry, accessories or anything.
the below of the head was cut and also the background of it is also was cut and
simply the hair stayed black there's no cut in any way because this stays black as it is and also the edge of it is also cut,
it's not a full body print its only shown by face it's a closed-full head,
I only cut below half of the body. this lino-cut I made this takes me to
finish like forever and also a hard thing to do cuz I've cut myself for like 3 times
especially when I tried to make a perfect line but it never happens honestly
I was doing it carefully cuz might cut myself again.

Year 10 Persuasive Writing

Reptiles should not be allowed as domestic pets.

Yes, because this happens on the internet there's this person have a reptile pet ‘snake’ and then I heard that the person was eaten by a snake his own pet ate him,,, reptile pet won't be
trusted because they eat human flesh or other flesh (which is animals) they only belong to there own natural habitat.
If this allows by any chance it would be a disaster and also dangerous to everyone.
keeping as there pet or if this allows there will be like 3 or 4 that people will die within a year,
no one wants that this should be not allowed for any reasons it's not safe.

Our Final App Blog

Introduction
-Over the past term I and my group made a horror app which is not what I want to and I have no choice but to listen and follow the instruction whatever they do, Anyways this App Lab helps us to make our own app~ and it was hard to make it honestly because of confusing codes and stuff  it was really hard to even though its not finish.

Reflection
- I learn about the App Lab so far it's really hard to make your own game sometimes your confuse, but I and my group work hard to make it well. this work has finished because with a group helped the game has finished, if they weren't there this work won't go on. we have lots of mistakes and I wish I would erase my name and there ideas making me character*^* I obviously didn't agree with that and they did anyway. so far all that we did was to figure out the patterns or codes kinds of stuff, it was honestly hard and confusing sometimes and someday ill figure that out or make my own someday. if there are any chances to make the game again I would try to practice by making my own games and understand the codes and stuff.

Our Experiments in Science

To use indicators to test various substances

around home to see if they are acids or bases.

Aim:
To use indicators to test various substances around the home to see if they are acids
or bases.

Method:
1. Set up your spotting tile with 12 substances from your teacher.
(Use just two drops for any liquid and add two drops of water to the solids before
you test them eg soap powder)
2.Add a single drop of universal indicator to each of the substances.

Put a photo of your completed spotting tile here:

Results:
Draw a table which lets you display your results clearly. The table should include
the name of the substance, the colour with universal indicator and whether it is
acids or base and how strong it is.

Conclusion:
(Look at the aim of the experiment and write a short conclusion which responds to the aim)

are students addicted to there phones?

I feel that students are addicted to their phones because phones have everything like playing games and
posting something they are using it for fun as if they were bored. Example they don't play outside that
much or not doing anything just staying at home or even they are bored and another example
when you're at work not doing anything and all you have is to play something on your phone, This is what
I feel.

How has Technology changed the way we do things

Technology has changed many things a lot like for the jobs, researching, and everyday activities, this allowed us to do things differently this helps us to search things when we don't understand the meaning it will answer straight away. another example is sending messages, before people always sending emails to communicate and with technology, it helps to send the text right away using phones. the final example is that you can take photos using phones, no need to use old cameras and stuff and when you take photos it will be sent right away to your memories or photos to keep all photos you got. these 3 examples are just a few ways of how technology has changed the way we do things.

Digital Technology

Fearing the Uknown is the best horror game that you ever choose!

in our creation, we named the app "Fearing the unknown" and this game is all about survival.

Introduction:
in our class DTE, were planning to create a game that could scare the audience like make them scared. Me, Selepa and Selena. and this about the high schoolers are lost so they had to stay in an abandoned house(haunted) Zombies, giants, and aliens are attacking the high school students, because the main character is carrying something the zombies, and aliens are after for, and you're going to choose 5 characters to start the gameplay. All you have to do is to survive the game and you'll win obviously, but if you lose of course you'll try and try again until you got it.

D.L.O. (Digital Learning Object)
reflection:
using coggle is a helpful site and this can help if ever you want a plan or like creating a game plan and others. coggle is more helpful site that you can use for planning and stuff. in our group we made it successfully because of my hardworking team and even tho were not really that agreeing sometimes, its obviously everyone is like that tho its part of it of being in the group. This ideas about the game to be honest i dont agree what they did because i hate horror stuff because its like your feeling a bad vibe and yehh but i have no choice. anyways this game is gonna be scary tho.

Child soldiers

Child soldiers are any children under the age of 18 who are recruited by a state or non-state armed group this children are poor and used as fighters, cooks, suicide bombers, human shields, messengers, spies, or for sexual purposes.

My Map shows all the countries were all the Child Soldiers located and each of point has the image and stuff.

SEEL Paragraph

1.) The First Passage
The First Passage was from Europe to Africa. The cargo on this passage was guns and weapons.
The Atlantic Slave Trade which is Africans suffer and did not expect to happen and they felt bad back
then, all African feel bad about their experience of being slave they must do what they’re master ask if
they don't they'll be hurt and some of the consequences will happen, some would die of sickness,
stroke, and others. The Slave Trade used mainly the triangular trade route and its Middle Passage
and existed from the 16th to the 19th centuries.

2.) The Middle Passage
Africans were taken to the Caribbean and sold. They were bartered for a ship-load of tobacco and cotton.
Then more guns and weapons are purchased. They were frightened of something every day they hope
not to die but some of them commit suicide because they know that they're babies won't live like this
and they cant have a great life they'll just suffer and die. When the ship has arrived they also trade all the
black man to all white people to be there slave and children are included.

3.) The Third Passage
All the Cotton, Tobacco and other products are put back on ships and sent to Europe.
Once the ships get to Europe, they are sold. It took their lives from slavery and they have no freedom
to have happy lives just to work until one day they'll die of working instantly, during travel to Colombia
slaves kept chained together in the ship hold. They were crowded in and unable to move about.
Even though they were valuable cargo slaves often died on the ship.

this map is about 10 worst countries child labour and this shows were all the child labour located.
